If a Shift is "Full" or "Reserved"

That means we have plenty of volunteers scheduled to complete all of our projects. Volunteer spaces are available on a first come basis, and once a shift is "full" or "reserved" we are unable to accomodate additional volunteers to avoid overcrowding. Please check back, as we open additional volunteer spaces on a monthly basis.

Youth Volunteers

-Each individual volunteer must be registered online. Parents can register their children just like they did themselves, using the same email address but a different user name.

-All volunteers must be 6 years or older to enter Distribution Center.

-Volunteers under 16 must have a parent or guardian sign up to volunteer with them.

-Volunteers under 18 years need a paper waiver with a parent or guardian signature on their first volunteer shift.

Corporate or Group Volunteering:

If you are volunteering with a group be sure to sign in with your unique join code. Once you do your shift will change from "reserved" or "full" to available for sign up until there are no more spaces left.

For more information on how to sign up a group of 10 or more volunteers visit Groups

Court Ordered Volunteers:

All Court Ordered Volunteers must be cleared by the Volunteer Department prior to first volunteer shift. Contact the Volunteer Department at volunteersd@feedingamericasd.org with your request to volunteer as a Court Ordered Volunteer prior to your first scheduled volunteer shift.
