Feeding America San Diego relies on the support of over 10,000 volunteers annually to help make it possible to distribute over 25 million pounds of food each year. Thank you for your interest in volunteering and making it possible for us to continue to fight hunger in San Diego.

• Bringing work gloves is recommended, but not required.

•Wear proper work clothes that you do not mind getting dirty.

•Leave valuables in your vehicle or at home.

•Please no horseplay in the warehouse.

Youth Volunteer Reminders

-Each volunteer must be registered online. Parents can register their children just like they did themselves, using the same email address but a different user name.

-All volunteers must be 6 years or older to enter Distribution Center.

-Volunteers under 16 must have a parent or guardian sign up to volunteer with them.

-Volunteers under 18 years need a paper waiver with a parent or guardian signature on their first volunteer shift.

Group Volunteer Reminders

If you are volunteering with a group be sure to sign in with your unique join code. After you do your shift will change from "reserved" or "full" to available for sign up until there are no more spaces left.
